GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Ten guide

Eugene discovers the address of someone who used to work on Anna’s yacht.
He heads to Noryangjin in Seoul.
The man sees Anna’s picture, but he says it wasn’t the boat he worked on.
But then he adds that he will check to see the other yachts, since there aren’t that many in Korea.
Eugene also stops by the missing persons’ center and asks the person there to call him the minute someone comes looking for Anna.
Meanwhile, Billy finds out someone has been looking for the yacht and immediately tells Mr. Gong to head to Seoul.
Mr. Gong gives money to the man Eugene met, in order to keep his mouth shut and not reveal anything about the boat.
Meanwhile, Anna receives a phone call from the missing persons’ center; a call that was originally meant for Eugene.
She finds out from the employee that Eugene has asked for information regarding shelters where she could stay at, and this completely destroys her.
To make things worse, Yookyeong comes to see her to tell her that she is still in love with Eugene. This breaks Anna’s heart.

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Nine guide

Eugene buys Anna a cell phone so he can check up on her anytime she should go missing. When Hyojeong meets Deokgu to suggest throwing a birthday party for Yookyeong, Deokgu mistakenly believes the cell phone to be a gift for Yookyeong. Hyojeong tells Yookyeong about this gift as well, and Yookyeong, feeling happy, goes to see Eugene. But Eugene is only surprised to see her. In fact, he doesn’t even ask about her birthday. He leaves her, saying he has to go home. Yookyeong, with her hurt pride, turns and walks away. After receiving the gift, Anna is pleased, but she immediately goes out to exchange the phone for a different color. Anna decides to call Eugene with her new phone, but just then, Eugene receives a call from a drunken Yookyeong. Anna is upset by this, but she agrees to go along with Cheolsu to pick her up. At the bar, Cheolsu leaves to buy some medicine. Anna tells Yookyeong to wake up and get herself home by calling a cab. Just then, Yookyeong sits up straight and looks Anna squarely in the eye. It turns out she’s been faking the entire incident, acting as if she were drunk when she really wasn’t.
She says she and Cheolsu have many precious memories together. She mentions how Anna herself has no recollection of her past with Cheolsu, and this crushes Anna’s spirits.

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Eight guide

While driving around the resort’s golf course, Mr. Gong happens to run into the love of his life, Gyejoo.
He gives her free passes to the resort’s spa, and Gyejoo decides to take all her friends, including Kangja and Anna, to the hotel.
As soon as they arrive, Mr. Gong spots Anna, and, in a state of desperation, attempts to block the group of women from entering the lobby. Billy, after receiving word of Anna’s arrival at the hotel, comes running to stop her, but he’s too late.
Finished with their baths, Anna and the other women leave the spa, but Kangja suddenly starts running toward the villas. Gyejoo tells Anna to go find her, since she is, after all, Kangja’s friend.
Kangja enters Billy’s private suite and sees his wedding pictures with Anna. In her confused state, she tucks a wedding picture into her bag.
Just then, Anna rushes inside and tells Kangja to leave before someone sees them.
She starts dragging Kangja outside, but that’s when Billy enters the suite.
Still not recognizing him, Anna apologizes to Billy.
Surprised and confused, Billy manages to nod, and Anna leaves, thanking him.
Realizing that Anna has become a completely different person, Billy falls into a new state of despair.
He begins blaming himself for what’s become of his wife.

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Seven guide

Billy receives a wedding anniversary gift from Anna.
The package is delivered from the States.
Inside are pictures of the island Anna bought along with a CD.
The CD is a video recorded by Anna to tell him she’s bought the island as a present for both of them.
An emotional Billy weeps bitter tears, feeling guilty over how he treated his wife.
However, he soon learns that Anna has drafted a new will which strips him of all claim to her fortune should she die before him.
Meanwhile, Eugene has to go back to the uninhabited island to paint the last lighthouse.
Anna says she doesn’t want to go, but inside, she’s secretly wishing to spend another night with him at the island.
However, Eugene tells Anna to stay behind. He leaves for the island alone.
A hurricane settles in late that night, and Anna gets increasingly anxious as her phone calls to Eugene go unanswered.
When she finds out from Deokgu that the fishing boat hadn’t come back from the island, she begins to dread the worst…

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Six guide

Billy overhears a couple of his employees whispering to each other about how he might have killed Anna, since he had gotten rid of her pet cat, Princess, right after her death. Realizing what this might do to his image, Billy quickly goes to the pet store to pick up Princess.
Meanwhile, Anna spots Princess at the pet store, and she is enchanted by the sight of the rare cat.
Billy, who doesn’t see Anna, buys Princess from the owner and leaves the store, but the cat runs away from him to end up in Anna’s arms.
Anna walks up to Billy holding the cat in her arms and asks him whether he’s the same man who came to her house the other day. She then compliments him on his beautiful cat.
Billy is only able to nod weakly.
Meanwhile, Deokgu and his mother do the last remaining work of the harvest season. They have a small party with the villagers at night, where Anna drinks bowlfuls of rice wine. In the end, she gets completely drunk.
In her drunken state, she confesses to Eugene that she doesn’t remember how they were like in the past, but that she knows he doesn’t have any feelings for her now.
Anna then tells him she thinks he is a nice guy, and she asks him to stay nice to her until her memory returns.
Seeing this new side of her, Eugene starts feeling bad for what he’s done.

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Five guide

Billy, thinking Eugene is a professional womanizer, gives Mr. Gong a large amount of money to use in his negotiations with Eugene.
Mr. Gong visits Euegene at his office, where he sees a blackboard where Eugene has written “$1,500.” Mistaking this as “$15 million,” Mr. Gong realizes the money in the briefcase might not be enough to satisfy Cheolsu.
Just as Eugene is about to open the briefcase, he receives a call from Anna. Mr. Gong, after overhearing their conversation, senses that something is wrong.
Quickly, he leaves the office with the briefcase of money.
And he stops Billy just before he can tell Anna that he is her husband.
Mr. Gong quickly drags Billy home.
Meanwhile, Yookyeong has to go to Jinju to pick up her wedding dress. Feeling bad for her since she has to make the trip on her own, Euegene makes an excuse about having to pick up paint in Jinju. He then drives her there himself.
Seeing Yookyeong in the beautiful wedding gown breaks Cheolsu’s heart, and he goes to a bar to drown his sorrows in alcohol. Meanwhile, Anna finds out Eugene had gone to Jinju to look at wedding dresses with Yookyeong, and she finds herself disturbed by this news.
Eugene calls Anna at night to ask her to come out to the bar. Anna, thinking he wants her to be his drinking buddy for the night, happily agrees, but she finds out he called her to drive the car instead.

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Four guide

Billy, who ignored Anna when he passed her on the street, decides to see her again. Once again, he chances upon her at the supermarket, where he learns that Anna has amnesia.
This comes as a huge relief.

He sees Anna and Eugene doing laundry together. When Eugene trips and falls, Anna starts laughing merrily. Seeing this, Billy is thrown into shock, since he’s never seen her so happy when she was with him.
Billy decides to leave for the States. He tells Mr. Gong to begin preparations.
Meanwhile, Eugene goes to the drugstore to pick up bandages for Anna, who has a sprained wrist.
At the drugstore, he overhears a conversation between two of Yookyeong’s friends, and he finds out that Yookyeong is waiting alone at a café for her fiancé.
Eugene asks his friend, a cab driver, to wait by the café until Yookyeong comes out to take her home safely.

In all of this, he forgets to pick up the bandages for Anna. Feeling bad about it, he wraps a hot towel around her wrist once he gets home.
He continues to nurse her, even telling her he’ll take her to the hospital the next day.
Seeing this, Anna begins to have feelings for Eugene.
She doesn’t know what she feels yet, but something is definitely happening.

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Three guide

Thinking Anna is dead, Billy prepares for her funeral on top of the yacht.
On the very spot where Anna had her accident, Billy drops his wife’s ring and goes to fetch it. He ends up tripping over his own foot and falling off the side of the boat, in the exact same way his wife fell the night before.
Realizing this could have been the way Anna died, Billy begins to think whether assuming her death as a suicide was a hasty move.
Billy is driving down the country road when he sees Anna, walking past the supermarket.
Feeling an eerie sense of recognition, he quickly turns around, but he only sees her back.
Meanwhile, Kangja coaxes Anna to take ice-cream from the store, and Anna ends up getting chased by the store owner to pay for the ice-cream. She escapes all the way to the bridge, where she once again comes face-to-face with Billy. She doesn’t recognize him, but Billy, seeing her, thinks she is a ghost coming back to haunt him from the grave.
Billy is swept by feelings of guilt and anxiety, since he now believes he’s the cause of her death.
However, Mr. Gong, his trusted secretary, lays out evidence of Eugene's clothes, his business card, and Anna’s speeding ticket, and begins a case of an extra-marital affair between Anna and Eugene.
By doing so, he claims Anna’s death had nothing to do with Billy.
Billy can’t forgive his wife for cheating on him, even though he now thinks of her as dead. He decides to meet Eugene.

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode Two guide

Billy, claiming he’s never been happy since he got married, asks his wife for a divorce. But Anna refuses, saying he’s the first and only family she’s had since she was 12 years old. She says the only way they’ll ever be apart is if she were to die.
While drinking whisky in her lavish yacht, a drunken Anna takes off her wedding band and throws it on the floor of the deck.
Forgetting that she herself had thrown the ring, she then beckons at it to come back.
Slipping and sliding drunkenly over the deck of the yacht, she bends over to fetch her wedding band. Just then, the boat tips heavily to one side, forcing Anna to lose her balance and fall over the side of the yacht.

Meanwhile, emergency rescue workers retrieve Eugene from the sea after almost drowning himself in an attempt to salvage his work tools. The rescue workers take him to the hospital.
After he recovers consciousness, Eugene swears revenge on Anna and throws a fit on his hospital bed. Just then, he hears a voice from beyond the curtains, telling him to keep it down.
Realizing he’s heard this voice before, he pulls the curtains back to see a disheveled Anna, looking pale and hurt on her own hospital bed.

Eugene, by now uncontrollably angry, is about to rush her when Anna, looking quizzically at him, cocks her head to one side and asks, “Do you know who I am?”

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble Episode One guide

Anna Cho, a Korean-American and the daughter of big-time real estate mogul Richard Cho, boards a plane for Korea after becoming annoyed by the weather in New York. Her husband Billy Park, who always longs to escape Anna’s tyrannical and high-handed ways, has been sojourning in Korea’s Namhae for the third straight month under the pretext of overseeing the handover of a resort. While driving along a deserted road, Anna gets lost and runs her car into a ditch.

Eugene Jang who lives with his three nephews and runs a small-time construction business whose sign displays the motley title of “General Construction, Architecture, Interior Design, and Engineering,” comes across the stranded Anna on his way home. Eugene, who is seriously thick-skinned and obsessed about money, gets out of his car and offers Anna help at the price of 30 dollars.

While Eugene is working, Anna sits waiting in his car. She takes Eugene's jacket, which he has taken off, and wipes the dirt from her shoes. She suddenly notices some red blotches on the jacket and mistakes them for bloodstains. She looks at the backseat and also mistakes a half-covered mannequin for a human body. Stricken with terror, she turns her eyes to Eugene's face, which, in a sudden flash of lightning, appears deadly and sinister.

Meanwhile, as he is working, Eugene keeps looking suspiciously back at Anna as she rustles around in his car, concerned about the envelope of money he left in his jacket pocket. Feeling alarmed,Eugene approaches the car with his shovel in hand; casting about for a weapon, Anna wraps Eugene's jacket around a toilet plunger and assumes a defensive stance. The moment Eugene reaches to open the door, she kicks it open and Eugene falls to the ground...

Han Ye-seul (Anna Cho) Wins Over Detractors as Amnesiac Heiress

The character played by Han Ye-sul (24) in the MBC drama "Couple of Fantasy" is a kind of Korean Paris Hilton, and her catchphrase "Look at you..." is on everybody's lips. An audacious heiress, Ana Jo becomes a comic character with disordered hair and cheap clothes after losing her memory due to an accident. Han's popularity is soaring thanks to the attractive qualities she brings to the role of a haughty rich girl brought low.

"Aren't they cute? I mean Netizens. They say I was such an unattractive character but suddenly became so charming. Those anti-fans... They suddenly became big fans," Han laughs. Her clothes are unflattering, but they can't hide her beautiful chiseled face. "I am a completely different person from Ana Jo. In fact, I think I'm lovely, delicate and rarely get angry." Han says she never expected she would become this popular. "When I decided to play a character like Ana Jo, who is arrogant and haughty, I was ready for any criticism from viewers, but instead I'm getting very friendly responses and I was really surprised," she says. "When I see how popular characters like Ana Jo are, I realize that Korea is changing fast. The public is becoming more open-minded. It's cool. Such a mindset is important for us to develop, isn't it?" She has a tendency to answer a question with another question.

Han made her debut in entertainment when she won a super model contest. She became a star thanks to the rude and bizarre role she played in another MBC drama, "Non Stop," in 2004. Recently she spent a year off with her family in the U.S. "The reason why I had so many detractors was that I became a star so fast. Our citizens have a strong sense of justice." Isn't she afraid of spoiling her image by playing such a role? She is breaking down barriers step by step as Ana Jo. "I've been a star rather than an actress, and that's no good. Stars have an inflated image and a short lifespan. I want to be more passionate about my job and build my career so that I can act for a long time."

Complimented that her acting has greatly improved, she giggles and covers her mouth. "Really? It's so nice to hear that. I think I'm very lucky." She speaks English fluently and wants to enter the U.S. market too. Asked if she wants to follow in the footsteps of Kim Yun-jin, who is a star thanks to her part in the ABC hit series "Lost," she is quick to respond. "It's so childish to say I want to do better than someone else." Does she have a role model? "There are so many excellent actors and actresses out there... My job is acting, but I don't like watching dramas or movies, so I can't answer your question. It's ironic, isn't it?"

In his own words, Cheol-su is a “construction site multiplayer” who will take on any and every kind of work if it means getting paid.

Billy is Anna’s husband and the CEO of the massive real estate enterprise that she inherited. He has extraordinary acumen for the real estate M&A business.
His main area of expertise is hotels and resorts.
Although he was born into an ordinary family, he easily earned his MBA and law degree at Harvard thanks to his astonishing intellect and has since been riding the fast track to success.
He is a tremendously gifted entrepreneur, and a boss who enjoys the trust of his subordinates. He’s sensitive and considerate—a pretty great guy once you get to know him.
Having enjoyed unimpeded success, Billy can appear cold and calculating. But inside, he’s surprisingly subtle and emotional.
Or, to put it more bluntly, he’s rather touchy and small-minded.
For a man like Billy, a woman like Anna—who respects nothing, fears nothing, has not one iota of consideration for others, and only demands unquestioning devotion and dedication—is simply too hard to handle; she’s enough to give him a heart attack.

4. Oh Yu-gyung – Played by Park Han-byeol
Beguiling men with looks so fragile that she might blow away on a wisp of wind, Yu-gyung is a representative example of the “damsel in distress” type that women despise.
She appears infinitely pure and innocent, but is in fact a tough cookie who knows how to get what she wants.
She knows that Cheol-su has been in love with her for a long time, but when he gets saddled with his nephews following his brother’s death, she turns her back on him as if oblivious to his feelings for her.
Still, after her engagement to a man with the perfect credentials gets broken off, she finds herself belatedly being drawn to the simple-hearted Cheol-su and regrets her past indifference.

GMA-7's Couple or Trouble synopsis

Couple or Trouble is about a woman named Anna who has it all: wealth, beauty, and a handsome husband. Her husband is Billy, who seems to be tortured when she’s around because she bosses

everyone around and acts like her every wishes should be followed.

And then she meets Eugene Jang, a poor guy but has a decent living. Anna has the mistaken notion that he’s a murderer, and proceeds to bash his head and run away. Eugene is furious; Anna unwittingly brought with her his day’s wage and left him unpaid for helping her with her car.

Eugene is so mad he’s determined to find her and get his money back. On another chance encounter, they proceed to have a big argument which leaves Eugene defeated and Anna a winner.

Eugene hates her more and Anna dismisses the incident as mere bad dream.

They both have an accident and Anna had a bad case of amnesia. Eugene took the chance to take revenge on Anna and pretends that he’s Anna’s lover.

Hence both Anna and Eugene will have a hilarious transformation as a fantastic couple that would have never happened if not for Anna’s amnesia.
